To mark the 75th birthday of Countryman we commissioned a special limited edition print of the Christopher Wormell wood engraving featured in the 75th birthday issue. Each print has been individually signed and numbered by the artist .
To mark the 75th birthday of Countryman we commissioned a special limited edition print of the Christopher Wormell wood engraving featured in the 75th birthday issue. Each print has been individually signed and numbered by the artist .
Christopher Wormell has worked as a freelance illustrator, exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum and is the author of a number of children's books.
The engraving has been printed by hand in a limited edition of 250 by Simon Lawrence of the Fleece Press, on an 1853 Albion handpress on dampened mould-made Magnani paper. The paper size is 173mm x 220mm
(6 3/4 x 8 5/8 inches) and the image size 97mm x 130mm (3 3/4 x 5 1/8 inches).
The Christopher Wormell limited edition print costs £75. Because quantities are limited, orders have to be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
