Harry Gration's Yorkshire Sporting Heroes

For nearly forty years, Harry Gration has been the voice and face of Yorkshire sport. It has been his passion since boyhood, and through his long and varied career, from Radio Leeds and Grandstand to the Olympics, he has gained a unique insight into the great sporting characters and events of our time. Now, in this his first book, he writes with feeling and from personal memory about his thirty sporting heroes from the arena of Yorkshire sports, including cricket, football, rugby league, boxing, athletics and swimming.
