The South Pennines – that fine area of gritstone moorland and deep valleys between the Yorkshire Dales and Peak District National Parks – may be more heavily developed than its famous neighbours, but there is no doubt that it contains areas that are equally fine. Most especially upper Calderdale, centred on Hebden Bridge.
Each book contains ten walks chosen by a local expert, all walks are six miles or less and all stay below 1,500 feet. Each walk is fully described with its own easy-to-follow map and points of interest along the way.
